April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born July 4 in 1995. As a seventh-grade student, she started taking guitar lessons and piano lessons. This ignited her passion for music writing. When April was 12, she composed her first single called Different. When she was 14 April was devoted for a long period of her time making song lyrics and working on her music. After a while, she began traveling with her father and to write songs either in NY and LA. April started to include other subjects in Take My Hand for those of her peers who struggled with disabilities, peer pressure or suicide. Lockhart collaborates with the well-known cosmetics brand Ilia and is also an influencer in the lifestyle industry with her own growing following. The truth is that she was born with no left hand, and it is what makes her different. However, this isn't the only aspect that makes her unique. Because of this, her Instagram account isn't afraid to talk about her disabilities, yet the focus isn't on it neither. The profile is a statement. We are all more than just our physical self. The identities we have are complex and encompass a variety of elements. Lockhart has stated on video that she didn't want to be defined by her physical disability. She doesn't want to become an advocate for disabled people who only speaks about it. There are a variety of aspects of Lockhart. This doesn't have any effect on my everyday life. I go about every day as normal and have found my own method of adjusting things. It's an integral element of my life and it's imperative to discuss the subject. Lockhart's self-acceptance journey will be one that lasts for a long time, and she is an inspiration in this regard. However, she admits that she has had periods that made her feel uncomfortable about her appearance and wearing clothing that showed her arms. Now she wears whatever outfit she wishes and shares pictures on Facebook with pride. It's a journey is the key thing I don't know that you ever arrive she says of self-love. It's the same for everybody regardless of the level of insecurity. It's essential to have those in your life who know and understand your situation. They'll be the ones to ask what you worry about?
