Eve was born to Trevor Eve (actor) and Sharon Maughan, a writer. Jack George and Jack George are her two brothers. They have been raised in both and the United Kingdom as well as Los Angeles. She graduated from Bedales School after which she completed her A Levels with Westminster School. In the following year, she went to the Beverly Hills Playhouse before studying English at St Catherine's College Oxford. At Oxford, Eve appeared in various student-produced productions, including An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers that toured the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Scenes from an Execution and The Colour of Justice. Eve has featured in BBC television dramas The Rotters Club Poirot, Hawking and Stage Beauty as well as movies like Stage Beauty (2004). Eve played a significant role in both Starter for 10 (with her co-star Simon Pegg speaking with an American accent) and Big Nothing (2006).
